Admission Fees

Adults (18 and over): ¥1,200
High school and university students (including vocational school students): ¥800
Elementary and junior high school students: Free
Visitors with disabilities and atomic bomb survivors: Free upon presentation of ID (One caregiver: ¥600)

*Visitors aged 70 and over, and groups of 20 or more, receive a ¥100 discount.

Access

By Train

From Tokyo
Take the JR Chuo Line limited express from Shinjuku Station to Kobuchizawa Station (approx. 120 minutes).

From Nagoya
Take the JR Chuo Line limited express from Nagoya Station for about 120 minutes to Shiojiri Station, then transfer to the JR Chuo Line limited express to Kobuchizawa Station (approx. 40 minutes).

From Kobuchizawa Station, it is about 10 minutes by car, or transfer to the JR Koumi Line and get off at the next stop, Kai-Koizumi Station, which is a 1-minute walk from the museum.

For Passengers Using the JR Koumi Line
Kai-Koizumi Station is an unmanned station, and transportation IC cards cannot be used when getting off at the station.
Please purchase a ticket to Kai-Koizumi Station before boarding.
You may also purchase a ticket to Kai-Koizumi Station when transferring at Kobuchizawa Station or other stations.

If you board using a transportation IC card, train staff will issue a fare adjustment slip on board.
However, during crowded times or when multiple passengers require this procedure, it may affect train operations. We kindly ask that you purchase a ticket in advance whenever possible.

By Car

From Tokyo
About 80 minutes from Hachioji IC via the Chuo Expressway, then about 10 minutes from Kobuchizawa IC (or about 15 minutes from Nagasaka IC).

From Nagoya
About 150 minutes from Nagoya IC via the Chuo Expressway, then about 10 minutes from Kobuchizawa IC (or about 15 minutes from Nagasaka IC).
