Museum Shop: The Ikuo Hirayama Silk Road Museum offers a variety of original goods, including postcards, letter paper, clear files, and shikishi boards.

Exhibition Room No.3: We hold special exhibitions where visitors can enjoy paintings by Ikuo Hirayama as well as works from the Silk Road Collection.

Exhibition Room No.1: We have a permanent exhibition centered on Buddhist statues from Gandhara.

Exhibition Room No.4: Visitors can view a wide range of masterpieces from the Silk Road, including coins, precious metal vessels, and ornaments.

Exhibition Room No.2: We hold special exhibitions where visitors can enjoy paintings by Ikuo Hirayama as well as works from the Silk Road Collection.

Exhibition Room No.5: We hold both special and permanent exhibitions. In addition, at the rear of the exhibition room, there is a section displaying works from Ikuo Hirayama’s final years, along with a recreation of his studio.

Museum Cafe: The café “Caravansarai” is located on the second floor of the museum.
From its bright interior, enclosed by glass on three sides, visitors can enjoy views of JR Koumi Line’s Kai-Koizumi Station, the Yatsugatake Mountains, and the Southern Alps.

Rakuda Park: Opposite the museum café, three ceramic camels are displayed in a row. Please enjoy them while imagining the landscapes of the Silk Road.

Exhibition Room No.6: This exhibition room was designed according to the artist’s own concept. Here, visitors can view the Great Silk Road Series, which depicts caravans journeying along the Silk Road, all in one place.

About the Museum

The museum café “Caravan Sarai” is located on the second floor of the museum.
From its bright interior, surrounded by glass on three sides, you can enjoy views of Kai-Koizumi Station on the JR Koumi Line, Yatsugatake, and the Southern Alps.
The café is open not only to museum visitors, but also to those entering freely from Rakuda Park or the adjacent Kai-Koizumi Station. You are welcome to use the café even without visiting the museum. We hope you will stop by.

Open only on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and event days from before Golden Week through the end of October.
The café is also closed during winter (from early December until before the following Golden Week).
