June 24: Japanese-Style Painting Workshop

June 24, 2023

《Japanese-Style Painting: Let’s Have Fun with Mysterious Art Materials》

The Hirayama Ikuo Silk Road Museum will hold a Japanese-style painting workshop, welcoming Yatsugatake-based Japanese-style painter Nika Kaneko as the instructor.

The painting style known as Japanese-style painting has a long history. It was brought to Japan thousands of years ago from the Silk Road, via China and the Korean Peninsula. Why not take this opportunity to experience Japanese-style painting, a form of art that many people rarely have the chance to encounter in everyday life?

We look forward to your participation.
