The museum will hold a Nihonga workshop, welcoming Yatsugatake-based Nihonga artist Nika Kaneko as the instructor.
The history of the painting style known as Nihonga is an ancient one. It was brought to Japan thousands of years ago from the Silk Road, via China and the Korean Peninsula. Why not take this opportunity to experience Nihonga, a form of painting that many people rarely have the chance to encounter in everyday life?
