【Sandbag Carrying Volunteers Wanted】

If you are able to participate in the volunteer activity below on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, we will offer you your preferred reservation slot for the Fossil Excavation Experience as a gift. Each slot is for two people.

This offer is limited to five families only, with two participants per family. Please note that the person who participates in the sandbag carrying volunteer work will be admitted free of charge. The accompanying participant will be required to pay the regular participation fee.

Applications will close once all slots have been filled. We look forward to your participation.

◆ Date and Time:
Wednesday, July 22, 2026
Please gather at 9:00 a.m.
The activity is expected to finish around 10:30 a.m.

◆ Activity Details:
Unloading sandbags
Approximately 300 sandbags loaded on a truck will be unloaded by five volunteers and museum staff.
This year, the amount is smaller than usual, and there will be no tent setup work.

◆ What to Bring / What to Wear:
Work gloves
Clothes that you do not mind getting dirty

◆ Gift Details:
Please prepare two to three preferred dates and times for the Fossil Excavation Experience.
We will do our best to adjust the schedule according to your preferences and make your reservation.
