September 30–October 1: Wine & Craft Festa 2023

September 30, 2023 – October 1, 2023

This year, the Hirayama Ikuo Silk Road Museum will once again hold the “Wine & Craft Festa” in collaboration with local craft artists. On a weekend at the end of September, when grapes are at their most delicious, visitors can enjoy fine wine, savor the gourmet flavors of Yatsugatake, and spend time discovering grape-themed craft works.

The event will also feature a lecture by Hokuto City Mayor Eiji Uemura, who is a certified wine advisor, as well as a mini live performance by a local jazz band. Please enjoy the event together with the museum’s special exhibition “Ikuo Hirayama: Painting Archaeological Sites — From the Middle East to the Mediterranean,” and the exhibition “Naoko Kamiyama: Walking in the Mountains, Walking Through the City,” held in the 2nd-floor café.
