Since 2003, the museum has been conducting joint research with Professor Yoko Taniguchi’s laboratory at the University of Tsukuba on clay sculptures in Gandharan Buddhist art. In this lecture, the two speakers will discuss the findings obtained through scientific analysis, including new insights gained from their research. This is a valuable opportunity to attend a lecture while viewing the collection up close.
